Playa del Cura is located between the lively resort of Puerto Rico and the charming Puerto de Mogán.

Playa del Cura and the neighbouring valley of Tauro are being rapidly developed. There are projects already approved to build a marina at Playa del Cura with an independent beach, shopping centre and dock for larger boats. This will make Riviera Vista one of the best located apartment complexes on the island of Gran Canaria.

Playa del Cura is already an exciting sand and stone beach with a promenade winding along the bay, offering the perfect stroll during which to enjoy the sunset. In summer the soft Atlantic breezes ensure a stable average temperature of 27º C and in winter the temperature normally stays well above 20º C.

Between the beach and Riviera Vista there is a small shopping centre with a supermarket that, amongst other things, sells bread, fresh pastry, meats and fish. There are also several restaurants to lunch at, a pharmacy and some other shops. Next to the beach there is the gourmet Restaurant Mogán next to the Hotel Riviera Marina, for when one feels for a really special meal.

The prettiest beach on Gran Canaria, Playa de Amadores, is only a 15-minute walk away from Playa del Cura.

For Golf enthusiasts, the nearest golf course is Anfi Tauro Golf, only 300 metres and a few minutes drive from Riviera Vista. 15 minutes drive further away, there are three more golf courses for you to enjoy: Salobre Golf, Maspalomas Golf and Meloneras Golf.

For more demanding golfers, you can also choose play at the oldest golf club in Spain and the most exclusive one on Gran Canaria: Bandama Golf – just to the south of the city of Las Palmas.
